Behind the bikes
Real people, real roads, and the messy bits in between.
We’re Diana and Trevor, married since 2002, and we love seeing the world a little differently from the seat of a motorcycle.
We’re not luxury resort people. Give us twisty roads, sea views, quiet campsites, local cafés and the unexpected moments that make travelling unforgettable.
Diana grew up in Germany with an adventurous spirit and rediscovered her love for motorcycles after a break of more than 20 years.
Trevor grew up in Ireland and never expected motorcycles to become such an important part of life. That changed in 2019.
Tales From The Bike is where we share the good, the messy, the funny, and everything in between.

One day, we hope to swap routines for open roads and set off on a long-term motorcycle journey around the world. No strict timeline. No rushing.
Just us, our bikes, different cultures, amazing people, and the freedom to stop whenever somewhere feels too special to leave.
Until then, we’re exploring Ireland, Europe, and every adventure we can fit into real life. This is the beginning of that story.

For us, motorcycles are more than transport.
Riding has a way of slowing life down while somehow making the world feel bigger.
The smell of rain in the distance. Ocean air. Mountain roads.
Quiet moments at roadside cafés. Unexpected conversations.
Being on the bike keeps us present. Focused. Calm.
Some call it freedom. Some call it therapy.
We just know it fuels our soul.
Giving back
Tales From The Bike proudly supports Good Hope Center e.V. and Watoto Homes & Schools in Tanzania.
This charity is especially close to our hearts, founded by Diana’s parents in 2011 and helping children through education, care, and opportunity.
We visited Tanzania in 2017 and saw first-hand the difference it makes. One day, we hope to return again. This time by motorcycle.
